If you have been wanting to build on your crafting supplies, then this is the time to do it.  Many of my customers wait until our annual Sale-A-Bration promotion to stock up on cardstock, patterned paper, ribbons, buttons, punches, inks and of course - stamps!  As Hostess, obtaining $600 in Workshop sales during Sale-A-Bration earns you:

1 FREE Hostess Stamp Set (or patterned paper pack) of your choice from our Idea Book & Catalogue (refer pages 10-13)

$70 worth of FREE merchandise of your choice from the Idea Book & Catalogue or current seasonal Mini Catalogue

1 FREE Stamp Set of your choose from the Sale-A-Bration Catalogue

Of course, if $100.00 of that $600 Workshop Sales was your own purchase, then you would be entitled to another FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp set of your choice.  If $200 of that Workshop total was your own purchase, then you receive 2 FREE Sale-A-Bration sets (and so on).

I have one customer in particular who puts in a $600 Order of her very own during the Sale-A-Bration period.  She stocks up on cardstock, papers, adhesive, cutting blades and other consumables during this promotion and earns herself quite a bit of FREE loot!   Last year Stampin' Up sent her an extra large box of FREE product.  Gotta love that!

Become a Demonstrator!  Join my Team during the Sale-A-Bration promotion and earn yourself yet another FREE Stamp Set (valued up to $79.95) - this time from any of our current Catalogues.

BELIEVE!

Isn't it always the way?  So much to do and so little time to do it.  I'm off to work in four hours and still have to wrap presents, dip cake balls in chocolate, clean bathrooms and pack our bags.  We hit the road early in the morning for a long awaited week's break.

I wanted to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and to take this opportunity to thank you for a fantastic year.  I could not do what I do without you - so a big ' thankyou' to all of you for your support, business and friendship.  I'm looking forward to sharing a fun and creative 2011 with you all.

No matter where you are this Holiday Season - stay safe and enjoy this time with your loved ones.  I'll see you in 2011.

In the meantime, please BELIEVE in the magic of Christmas!

OH NUTS!

Are you like me?  Do you like to give just a little something to friends, neighbours and other people in your community at this time of year?  And do you like to present that little something in pretty packaging?

Why not try these scallop circle handbags?

Made with the use of Stampin' Up's Scallop Circle Bigz Die and Mr Big Shot, these cutie patootie handbags can be whipped up in minutes!  Decorate with Designer Series paper of your choice and embellish with a punched/scrunched flower and Little Leaves Die Cut - you're ready to go!

Medium cello bags come to the rescue for packaging these chocolate coated nuts and flocked ivory tulle has been overlayed to add a wintery feel.

These cute little bags can be used for almost any occasion.  Measuring 3" long, 1" wide and 1.5" deep, these bags are a great way to present some home made goodies, store bought sweets or even jewellery.  I've used them several times to house stamps as a Hostess gift. One customer made 140 (in very vanilla and gold) as cake favours for her Wedding.

Endless possibilities, super easy and very inexpensive!

Why not try one today!

SNOWMEN IN THE NEIGHBOURHOOD

These little cuties were the subject of my most recent Creative Kid's Class. Whilst there was no stamping on this project, we sure did have a fun time!  Let me introduce

Mr and Mrs Snow

I saw this idea on Laurie Furnell's blog last Christmas and popped it into my favourites to do at a later date.  What better time of the year to pull it from the archives!

A fantastic project to do with your own children, this quick and easy stocking stuffer is also an inexpensive gift for school friends and neighbourhood children.

After sizing to fit the individual chocolate bars (which were used as their bodies - Kit Kat, Mars, Snickers etc), the snowman wrappers were printed onto Very Vanilla cardstock.

My trusty sewing machine was enlisted for the job of sewing the 30+ felt hats.  (Thankyou Susie Sewer - you have served me well, considering you have been neglected for so, so long)

The children then proceeded to put together their snowmen, prepping the beanies and scarves.

On the insistence of my creative kids, the Snow family grew on the day to include a son and a daughter.  So by popular demand ..... let me introduce to you

Junior and Sissy Snow

and of course, we have to have a family portrait

We have a basket of Snowmen ready to hand out to the neighbourhood children on Christmas Eve.  Why don't you do the same -  help spread the Christmas Cheer !

Don't forget to leave some love

SUMMER SNOWBALLS

It's official.  My classes and workshops for 2010 have now come to an end.  Time to put down scissors, paper and ink and pick up spoons, beaters and bowls.

Every Christmas we bake homemade goodies for our friends and neighbours.  It has become one of our Christmas traditions!  This year is no exception and our "bake off" will begin next week.

Once all the goodies are made, they are sealed and packaged up in gift boxes and bags, in readiness for delivery on Christmas Eve.

Now I love the time shared with family in the kitchen.  And I certainly love the taste and smells of all these scrumptious goodies.  But my favourite part is the making of the gift boxes and bags (but then I don't suppose you guessed that!  lol)

We made a number of these little gift bags at my Christmas Collections Class this year.  Customers had a choice from the Jolly Holiday and Christmas Cocoa Designer Series paper and each and every gift bag looked super cute.

The bag base was precut so this project went together lickety split.   The wait at the gift bag table was long but so worth it.  So glad that everyone went home with at least two of these gift bags, in addition to all the other goodies (made and won).

Here I've used a snipet from the Jolly Holiday DSP pack which has been highlighted with a  punched scallop trim border strip.  An embossed snowflake from Snow Swirled has been added to my scallop tag, topped with a punched glittered snowflake to enhance the festive feel.  The bag here has been tired off with 2" ivory organza ribbon (own supply) to add softness and depth.

For the purpose of this class project, I opted to fill my gift bag with Raffaello Balls or Summer Snowballs as my daughter calls them.  Once our bake off is finished, I'll be popping goodies into these bags, in readiness for delivery to the neighbourhood.

Don't forget the baking!
